Tirana, today woke up surrounded by the cordon of police forces. The capital seems to be on the verge of war. The government has taken extreme measures to avoid clashes and protests about Kuksi's detainees.
Last Saturday (March 31), protesters burned down the toll booths on the Nation's Highway to reject the high tariff that Edi Rama's government improperly enforced in the Kalimash area that connects Albania with Kosovo.
Approximately 23 people were arrested amidst the government raids. Armed police officers stormed the detainees houses in the early morning hours and brought them to Tirana on allegations of vandalism and destruction of property. The arrests are politically motivated.
